The Ten Thousand Villages mission is to create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term fair trading relationships, in the hope that one day all artisans in developing countries will earn a fair wage, be treated with dignity and respect, and be able to live a life of quality.

Waste for Use

Waste for Use is a Georgia nonprofit environmental advocacy organization, established solely for the intent of inducing an environmental oriented social culture via outreach and education.


Compostwheels began as a small group of individuals passionate about finding a way to re-direct organic waste from landfills in Atlanta to a resource in the process of making fertile soil.

Freedom Farmers Market

Freedom Farmers Market at The Carter Center was formed by a small group of local farmers who wanted to bring their good food to the surrounding neighborhoods. All of the vendors have a dedication to sustainable production practices and represent the best of local food production.
